Pastor Sherman Davis
What a privilege it has been to take part in this church's 32nd anniversary with Pastor Davis, their homecoming service, and the start to their Bible Conference. Bro. Crichton taught a great soul-winning lesson/message in Sunday School, and Bro. Ben Carper preached in the main service about the gospel; and when a young man came forward to be dealt with, Matt was able to take him through the gospel and lead him to the Lord. His name is TJ, and he plans to begin attending the church regularly now that he lives in area. After the morning service, we sang while everyone ate, and we are glad that we were able to be a blessing. In fact, they asked us to come back Monday night to sing more. You all were a great blessing. Thank you most of all to Jose and Lucy for taking great care of us and to the Godwin's for allowing us to stay in their beautiful house. We hope to meet you next time we come through.
